The decadence!
It smells delightful out here, roses, jasmine, honeysuckle, mown grass, m'coffee beside me, a rather delicious African blend; I have frothed the milk, my debauchery knows no bounds. Skies be blue, the clouds white and fluffy, all is quiet - aside from the birds, the neighbour's bird-scarer and our cat-squealer (which is supposed to be inaudible to human ears and I don't think I'm any sort of Sentinel/super-being so why can I hear it? It's really annoying) which is busy doing its job of pissing off the neighbour's murdering mog. Good.
I think I rather got off the point there. Hmmm.
Did I have a point? Thinking about it, probably not.

No such luck, though! I have the coffee maker on with some nice new, freshly ground beans in it (smells FAB!) and will also be frothing my milk.
Very sore today, slept badly with the old hip. No alchohol for me today, so I can take my painkillers at bedtime! Off out to town with the kids in an hour or so. I have promised I will buy them stuff, so off to the game shop we go... :-)

Or i want to be there, or something.
Ah, Mum's garden, getting neglected, we're doing our best but I think we need to re-engage a gardener at least a day a week. This baby is huge and needs constant care. It does smell lovely and though I affect to despise lawns, they can be rather gorgeous.
I'm sorry the hip's giving you so much trouble. Have you tried any herbal remedies? They tend to work best on chronic troubles. ::hugging you:: I am on no alc myself at the moment (the BP result put the wind up me I admit). I have to say I don;t really miss it at all. I have rediscovered fruit cordials, I'm hoping to make my own this year with a little help from my wine making sister.
Enjoy your day babe, hug the boys for me, sending them virtual Hitcher impressions.

(I don't know what's wrong with me this morning - it's like I got goofiness mixed in with my coffee. And no decadent frothed milk for me! ;-) )

No frothed milk? Outrage!

Your garden sounds just lovely. Heavenly. =>}
I've never heard of a cat-squealer, but it sounds like a wonderful idea.
Luckily, our town recently decided that cats had to have licences the same as dogs and we're seeing a lot less cats around the neighbourhood, so maybe people are finally keeping them inside, instead of letting them roam into our garden to kill our lovely songbirds.

It seems to be doing the job. There's a cat that's moved into the neighbourhood that's just a killer. All the other cats are terrified of it and it's killed so many birds, to my sister's special distress. We've been watching one family of blackbirds for three generations and this cat has killed all but one of them; we've found each one (they all had names), one by one, under shrubs, torn to pieces. I swear I'd shoot the bugger if I could, all we can do is try to keep it off our property. For the moment, this thing is working so I'd definitely give something like it a try.
The cat license is a good idea but - keeping cats indoors all the time, isn't that a little cruel? Cats were made to roam.

That cat sounds positively evil.
Both our cats were indoor cats right from the beginning. Once in awhile, we'd take them into the garden, but they were a bit agoraphobic.
Indoor cats live longer and are healthier than outdoor cats. They also don't get to kill any songbirds. A HUGE plus.
Both are cats were very happy with their lives.
It would be different to take an outdoor cat and suddenly keep it indoors, but if they're indoors from day one, that's the only life they know and as I said, they're healthier and live longer. =>}
