... And ready to go. We have a morning session on what, I know not. And another video, then we're having a picnic. I hope I manage to stay awake.

A hellish night, with a bunch of drunken American students standing in the quad outside my room, yelling and screaming at each other till 4 in the morning - then they came into halls and began banging doors and yelling at each other in the corridors for another hour or so. By 5 I gave in and got up - at least I didn't have to wait for a shower ::G::

I'll miss the course, but I certainly won't miss halls. I feel like I'm getting out of prison today.
location: Middlesex Uni
Mood:: 'tired' tired

Didn't anyone stop them?! Surely they have security for that kind of thing. You won't have been the only one who was kept awake by them - not that that's a comfort to you. GRRR! How inconsiderate some people are.

Hope you manage to stay awake for the picnic. :oD

Have a safe journey!

Oh, you know, it's halls (man)! It's always a bit like that but that was about as bad as it's been. Apparently there was some party or something in the union next door. :sigh: Young people today, eh? Heh heh.

Blimey luv, between the fire alarms and the insane students - you're going to need a bit of a lie down *g*

I do. Oh God, I do! Home now, tho.

Had a crowded, sweaty series of train rides and on the last leg - between Bolton and Chorley, an insane, abusive, shouty bloke picked a fight with the guard - screaming; "So I've not paid, I'm getting off at Chorley and no **** going to **** stop me!" And I'm thinking - 'Oh no, why does he have to be getting of at MY station" O:?!

So they stopped the train outside Chorley, where we all had to wait in a locked-down train till the police got there to take the guy away.

A little slice of life... ::VBG:: I did enjoy it when he called the guard a 'honky bastard' - prompting me to ponder; what decade is this guy living in??? Or am I just out of touch and it's got trendy again? Heh heh.
