I finished the second draft.

151,390 words, mercifully shorter than I was anticipating.

Starting the third draft tomorrow, as soon as I know I have the first three chapters up to speed, I'll need to start the grind with the agencies. Hey ho the nonny, it has to be done, alas.

But, hey - second draft, finished! That's good, isn't it? :o)

Cool! You really made smoking progress on this second draft. I so hope this gets picked up - I really want to read it; it sounds just amazingly neat and interesting...

I've been giving it a lot of time, to be sure. But then, it needed it. :o) I suspect there's a fair bit of work to be done on it yet - but thanks for the kindly words of encouragement. I'm hoping to finish the third draft inside a month and have it out to agents in about a fortnight.
