But more meaningful to me is the news that Keith Floyd also died last night.

Keith, you were undoubtedly a bit of an arse, but you made me laugh like no one else. You're worth many dozens of  Olivers and Ramsays. Wherever you are today, I hope they're playing The Stranglers and that someone else is picking up the tab for the wine.

Did you see the Keith Allen film last night? I can't help wondering if that's what killed the poor owd bugger. How cool you met an old friend! Did he say anything repeatable? :o)

It must be one of those synchronicity moments - I've never met him myself, but I've got two acquaintances in common - let's face it, I know a lot of drunks *hg* And no, nothing juicy - just how ill he was looking, which is kinda sad... He was certainly a one off - he'll surely be missed.
