Ohhh pretty. I like the snow...as long as I can stay inside with a cup of tea and look at it through the window.

I hear that! ::raises cup of steamy coffee you you::

The pictures are very pretty, but I think that should be very difficult live together with so much snow and cold.
Here it does an unbearable heat, there is a lot rain and floods, the streets are flooded, a lot damages in my city.

I saw your floods on the news, I hope you're all safe!

I don;t mind the cold weather, better for me when it's cold, than the heat.

Hee! So, how is Chapeltown in the snow? Is the Asda a Dickensian delight? :o)

It's like something out of Jane Austen. Except for the snowplow.

Jane Austen? Did she ever make it this far north? :o)

The snowploughs aren't helping much today, last night the UK was only 2 degrees warmer than the North Pole, everything's frozen solid.

Gorgeous photos. I loved Penistone, the whole area is lovely. Thanks for sharing!

In 2000 my sister and I, after putting the parents on the train in Edinburgh took a week to drive back to London and spent it mostly in Yorkshire. I love the whole area. It is England to me.

That one called "Don Cottage"--that's a great photo. I like the way the curve of the iron gate mimics the curve of the roofline.

Lovely, all of them!

Don cottage is for sale if you're interested? *g*

The links aren't working properly are they? Dangit, something else I have to fix to put off work for another 20 minutes.
