It's absolutely ARCTIC out there! All water is solid ice, the roads are impassable.

What happened? I demand an explanation for this climatic outrage

Well you you don't listen to top gear, it's climate change due to the exhaust of cars. If you do watch top gear, it's just a passing phase.

El Nino ... which gave us less hurricane's in the US this year.

Mother Nature is so fickle.

I have never missed an episode of Top Gear in my life but anyone who takes Jeremy Clarkson seriously should be kept in a secure (and safely-padded) environment!

::giggle::

It was something we said at school, in a thick English accent, whatever the weather. It needed to be said.

::is watching a programme about the snow::

These things do need to be said - definitely. More fun that way!

I think we've had enough cold and snow now. It's got to be spring soon, winter's been going on for ages!

Two days and ::maybe:: three inches of snow in upper-southern US. Everyone goes ballistic to the grocers, milk and bread, not I! I drive out for supper with a friend - icy, yes, but not to be dis-revelled! Couldn't stay at friend's house as I ate too much at the Mexican restaurant, but it was lover-ly. Finished at lunch today.

Trudged next door for Japanese supper tonight - lovely with a red wine from South Africa. My tongue is numb and my teeth itch...

Brrr! At least it's clear your way though. We've got cold with dreary skies but no real snow on the way. Stay inside, have some mulled wine or other appropriately warm drink and enjoy the day!
