On the death of SG1

You know, I want to care, I really do, but I don't. I dutifully watched S9 but my attention wandered throughout. IMHO, Beau B and Ben B are wooden and uninspiring and Vala...  dont  get me started!

I pretty much lost interest when Jack and Gen Hammond left, and now I feel like John Lennon when Elvis died; 'Elvis died when he went in the army'.

Sigh.

IMO, seasons 1-4 were the best. I've barely kept up with the series since - definnitely haven't seen any episodes since Jack left.

To me, it feels more like the series has been put out of its misery, though I know it still has a lot of fans left.

Alas, I stopped watching long ago. Very happy that SGA will still be on, but my track record says. if I like a show it's not long for the airwaves and if it is I will lose interest anyway.*sigh
