panik at 07:13pm on 10/04/2010 under doctor whoThat was a disappointment. Started out well but got rapidly stupid. Such sentimental tosh, it wasn't only the poor whale who wanted to vomit.
The music is still a joy. I never thought I'd hear the almost perfect Delia Derbyshire arrangements again and Matt Smith, still good, Troughtony with a dash of Hartnell but that story - gosh golly, it was bad. Just a glitch I hope, next week looks intriguing. I keep thinking I'm sick of the Daleks but then they open their little mouths (Do they have mouths? Woggle their tentacles...?) and I can't help but love them, the genocidal little tinkers.
And - no Scotland, but what about Wales? ::laughs long and loud in a Dalek voice::
