can you recommend a good news site for following the results?

The BBC are usually pretty good at this sort of thing:

or Channel 4 are good too:

But Twitter's probably going to be the place to be. It's going to be an interesting night, for sure. Can I ask why you're interested? I'm not sure I'd stay up to watch the Belgian election ;o)

I study English, and Britain is one of my very favourite countries. not to mention this election has been frontpage news for a few days here too, even with one of our own coming up XD thankyou!

Well, OK! I hope you enjoy it, it promises to be the most unpredictable election since the mid seventies. I'm staying up late, well plied with drink and drugs chocolate.

whooow, those stations close sooo late! ours usually open from around 7AM-1PM and we get clear results by around 8PM or so, i won't be staying up to follow this one! probably because yours is ona weekday, ours are always on sundays.

They're always on Thursdays here, since time immemorial. :o) I love the election coverage, with the presenters caught mid-sandwich and mugs of tea and all the daft glitches. I'll be flipping from the srz-BBC stuff to the C4 alternative election night, too, which promises to be pretty good.

Whatever happens, it's always an *event*.
