I feel all out of touch...
...disconnected and bereft. I never get to come here much any more. I'm just busy, but I miss the online life so much. I have a lot of projects on the go; I'm trying to set up an online permaculture business that's taking up a lot of time; plus licking our house into shape so we can get it on the market, plus trying to write a book, then what little spare time I've had is all taken up lately with doing reports, galleries and a DVD for Richard's Golf thingy. I'm also musing (again) on trying to finish my PhD, which I abandoned back in '96 when I realised I was never going to have enough money to complete all the research. It's not a practical proposition the way my life is at the moment, but I've been looking at ways I might get the ball rolling again when my life settles down a wee bit.
I'm off over to
alibongo's again this weekend, for an impromptu Alias Smith and Jones get-together - then staying at my mum's for the rest of the week where I'm hoping to get some actual writing done (stop sniggering at the back!) I might finally get to do some solid work on my book (as opposed to twenty minutes snatched here and there) and get those two Moonridge fics back underway after a long time languishing. I'm really looking forward to it.
In the meantime, to cheer myself up, here's a happy pic from a great weekend.

Great photo - nice to put faces to names always - well not RB obviously, you know what I mean. *g*
RL sounds a wee bit on the hectic side! Hope you get some down time to yourself in the near future... we miss you *HG*

Unfortunately, he was WAY too heavy for us to carry off, otherwise, obviously... ::G::
Sigh... I am pretty tired. I have no right to be, I know. I mean, people who juggled 17 children with 12 hour shifts down the pit, now THEY have a right to be tired. ::roll:: The main problem is too many irons in the fire - I can't really relax because there's always something that needs my attention. I'm looking forward to the week off, I must say.
Hmmm... I now have the image of a soot black man with a Davy lamp juggling 17 children. Is this what killed variety? I ask myself...

LOL - see now, I'd pay good money to see a show like that... yes I would!
