.. at last. Gosh golly gosh, but tis cold out there! Sunny, blue skies - gorgeous! But very, very cold.

I really should go for a run, it's been days, but, if I'm honest with myself, I see lots of tea, hot buttered crumpets and rampant self-indulgence in the form of listening to Jon Ross, reading my newly arrived DUG books and maybe even some writing in my immediate future. There's a Roman AU that's screaming for attention, dammit. I'm having problems with bloody little Han - he's SOOOO annoying, and I can't get John Hurt's Caligula out of me head when I'm writing him. ::heaves helpless sigh::

In the meantime, because everyone else is doing it...

I'm writing it now! having a sticky time, though. I just can't get bloody Han right at all. I'm not being helped by Mum and Dad watching The Brittas Empire at ear-bleed volume. ::heaves heartfelt sigh::

I might go for a brisk stroll in the icy gale in a mo; try and get my head around the problem. OTOH, I think I need more crumpets. Maybe they will inspire me...?
