...most shamelessly. Well, everyone on my flist seems to be doing it - who am I to be left out?
The Moonridge auction gets underway on May 19th; despite not having finished last years stories yet (soon, I swear; honestly, I'm writing them, I am!), I've got a couple of things on offer.

As many of you know, I usually set up a members-only community for my WIPs, watched and commented on by a select band from my flist. For this year's auction, because writing a whole story for one single person (or in my case, 2 stories for 2 people) inside twelve months is apparently beyond my capacity, and because writing a tale on LJ as a WIP seems to be my thing, I'm offering a seat on my next WIP community to anyone who coughs up $10 to Moonridge - and a place in the stalls for the one after that for the bargain price of $5.
I'll be writing the $10 story right after auction's end. Blair goes to the academy, but it doesn't go well and he doesn't become a cop. I guarantee plenty of angst for both lads in this one, which is about two thirds sketched out and raring to go.
The $5 story is going to be the third part of the Rainbows trilogy. I'm still writing part two for one of last year's auction winners and won't be starting # Three till after # Two is posted - so it'll be the summer at the earliest before I start, hence the bargain price. (o:
I'm just hoping enough people want to join to make it worthwhile; the 2 stories I offered last year ended up making a tidy sum - it'll take rather a lot of people coughing up $10 and $5 to make the same amount, but I honestly don't think I could go through the stress of churning out another completed story for a single bidder again. This seems like a reasonable compromise.
For anyone who still doesn't know about Moonridge and the auction, you could do worse than check out
