It was beautiful, if a little hazy, till about a half an hour ago, then a real storm kicked in; presumably the same storm you're getting since you're only about ten miles away. (o:

It's still hot here despite the storm and heavy rain so don't get your hopes up, hon!

It wasn't storming then, just heavy, heavy rain. Your storm finally reached here hours later. There was quite a bit oif thunder. :oD
