I love reading the history of the UK.
Just read Wind Whispering - a terrific AU that uses all the best aspects of each character. Loved the mental dialogue between Blair and Naomi. Will there be a sequel?

I've just been posting about Monsanto on permaculture (I don't know hopw to do the 'community' thing in a comment, sorry). I have many beefs with our Government but at least they've managed to keep Monsanto at bay - for now.
I'm thrilled you liked Wind Whispering! That was an auction challence that gave me massive grief, till the story just appeared, almost in its entirely, in the organ that I still insist on calling My Brain. Even though I had a fairly good grasp on the story, it took forever and a day to write. (o:
It's interesting how many people have asked about a sequel for that one. I'm not sure there is a sequel, really. I mean, Blair goes back to live with Jim and despite the initial small-town shock, the good townsfolk get over it and they live happily ever after. (o: I can't see a sequel, no - but who can say? I'm actually mired in writing 2 lengthy stories at the moment. How about yourself? Anything new on the horizon?

Congratulations! All that is necessary to do that is full disclosure of product ingredients/origins. One day we will have genuine capitalism here in the states and have the legal right to know what we are buying (our labeling laws allow them to keep all the important stuff a secret from consumers). A lot of American products aren't sold abroad because then they'd have to label them and no one in their right mind would want to buy them.
I'm actually mired in writing 2 lengthy stories at the moment. How about yourself? Anything new on the horizon?
That's about where it is - somewhere on the horizon :-) I am kicking around a story idea that delves a bit into some of the things that make Jim physiologically different. Also my last story, (I am a linear thinker and keep going along my canon time line), has Blair ready to move next door to Jim. So will play with that stuff for a bit. I write very slowly so not expecting anything any large scale efforts to come out soon - maybe some snippets or drabbles just for fun.
But you have to give some hints about your plots!

One is a sequel to a story I wrote called Chasing Rainbows which is going to be a trilogy. it's getting darker all the time and will get even more so as it goes on. The other is that story about Blair and the Academy, leaving the academy to rediscover his roots but finding himself still playing cop. Then Jim comes back into his life...
They both look set to be my usual epic-length and taking up more time than I can truly spare (but I'm not complaining (o:)
Your Jim-psychology angle sounds fascinating! Looking forward to reading that.

Actually, that would be physiologically, as in genetically, different. His psychological make up is an ongoing analysis in all our fics, I think :)
