LJ is being a sulky tart again
It's been days since I got any emails telling me about messages received -or rather, I am getting them, but days late.
If you've responded to me and I haven't posted back, then - you have my apologies. It's a bit of a bastard. I wonder what the problem is now, then? ::sigh::

And I believe it's going off for 'essential maintenance' in the early hours US time, which means Saturfday morning here - the very time like to browse and catch up. hey ho... I guess this is the Universe's way of telling me to stop wasting time and do some work.

You're right. Harry Stack Sullivan who developed the *Interpersonal Theory of Psychiatry*, way back in the 30's, described this kind of *covert* thinking, creative thinking,as something that we do on an unconscious level, like putting something *on the back burner* And, although we're not aware of it, the creative process goes on. So, when we say an idea has popped into our head, we've really been thinking about it or something like it, all along.
