Life...

After a surprisingly full and productive day yesterday, I wake shattered and am currently on my 3rd cup of coffee, hoping against hope that my brain might decide to cooperate and let me get on with something.
Grouting my new bathroom floor today - eventually - I hope. Unless something like the story I'm writing decides to get in the way tee hee. I stayed up till 2.29am (exactly) writing the darn thing which is probably contributing to my shattered-ness. My body clock still hasn't re-adjusted after Bev's excellent, but exhausting PPP. It's a good job I don't have a life these days or I'd really be in trouble.
Mood:: 'exhausted' exhausted
Music:: can't cope with noise right now

And fanfic is always more important than other things. I think it's a law or something. :oD

4 1/2 hours left for me. Also on the 3rd cup. Brunch very near on the horizon.

Is there a place where I can hand in my life and get a different one? I really like the current version...

And breakfast moves seamlessly into lunch... So much for Carpe Deum. I always hated Horace anyway. Wasn't he the bastard who wrote that bloody poem about the sparrow?

Hmmmm.... Now, you see, you've made me think because fic writing, endless squeeing and being fangirlish WASN'T a part of the old life and I'm beginning to wonder if I really wanna trade???
I suppose I could introduce all of the above into the old life which would make it *almost* perfect; but then Karma would probably deal me a Big One. Ho hum...

Man oh MAN!!!! I'm typing here with my ring finger... I finished all but the last 4 tiles and the side of the vbath but had to stop cause I'm in AGONY!!!!!
The tiles have ripped my fingertips to ribbons and the highly acidic grout got in the cuts and... MAN!
My partner arrived in the nick and is finishing the job but I am so crippled for writing...

No further delay...let story writing commence! Shatteredness is a state of mind....and you should see the state of my mind! Hee!

The pain gets so bad when the cuts get water in them - I mean, WHY??? What's going on there, then?
Floor's all done though, and looking gorgeous! Sitting here with a beer and feeling fine (apart from the painful fingers and the need to type with my right ring finger). And I so agree that sanity is overrated - Sanity and chips.
