There's a huge, luminous rainbow at the back of the house. It's really very lovely against such an ominously dark, slatey sky. There's that strange, amber glow on the garden and fields too, the sort that turns ordinary garden greens into something alien and radioactive - the kind that usually presages a storm... ::wibble::

But the dangerous weather warning said not till tomorrow, dammit!!

Unless the rainbow is a message from the Gods that I should be writing my poor neglected fic? heh heh.

LOL, I'm *still* (still!!!) wrestling with Jim in the last bit of my other WIP. Why is he always such a difficult bugger to write?

Isn't weather weird? Even at your folks' place, you're not *that* far away, and I've had bright blue skies and brilliant sunshine all day - just the odd grey cloud that doesn't linger. Presumably on the way to hover over you.

At least you got a rainbow (and fic reminder) too! :oD

It's been intermittently bright n sunny and showery today - no storms materialised, thank god, but it's SO hot! How is it back home?

Never got around to *that* fic, alas - still battling with the other one, dammit!

Not *that* hot! I've had the window open all day but it's shut now, and I'm starting to feel a bit chilly. I'm thinking about putting the fire on.

According to the BBC weather site, it's supposed (please note that word) to rain heavily all day tomorrow. However, they said light rain for Sunday and it threw it down.

Hope your weather stays warm, and keeps dry.

Now, we had no rain at all Sunday - very hot and dry all day - but it's chucking it down today, alright. I let a yowling, half-drowned cat in at 5am; he wasn't a happy kitty. (o:

I dreamed about your story chasing Rainbows, so that's two signs of something or other. Re-skimmed through it after reading your post. Really, really like all your stories but the way you did the spirit plane was so cool.

and it's been in the 100's here for two weeks with no rain. And my car's AC broke.

You dreamed about my fic... O:! Whoa! I'm like, stunned (man) What a compliment! ::G::

I'm hoping to re-start work on the sequel today; that spirit plane is getting a little darker, a little less friendly in part 2. (o:

That weather sounds serious. It's raining here tpday, just for a change. ::G::
