I did some pictures around the village yesterday; it wasn't a very good day for it, tbh... hazy, hot, humid; a storm in the air that broke last night - today's dawned dark and wet but hey ho.... It/they (when I can get it to get it to load more than one piccie at a time :G:) should give you some idea of the gorgeous spring we're having.

Wow - beautiful... can't wait for ours to get going. How far from home is the wood?

About 5 minutes walk - we're surrounded by forests and moors. It would be nice, if it weren't for the indescribably noisy 5 acre sawmill right in front of my house - heh heh.

Eeep - you must have nerves of steel! Looks glorious - even if I could afford to live somewhere hot and humid the rest of the year, I'd always come back to Britain for May and October.

And hey - your comment type has grow bigger. Miracle-gro?

Nothing to do with me... :holds up hands ina defensive gesture: I don;t even know what it is you guys are seeing. It always looked fine to me - it's just one of those techno-mysteries I don't even attempt to think about.

Those are beautiful! They don't go wild here, so it's nice to see.

Our "lawn" is full of purple, white and yellow violets and even forget me nots!0 J. mows around them until the flowers are finished. So very lovely! =>}

Well that sounds lovely too! We have forget me nots and violets out here too, out in the woods. The best thing about the bluebells is their scent; a rich, hyacinth that permeates the air when the sun comes out - unlike today )-:

I LOVE the smell of hyacinths! Funny that the bluebells would smell like that.

Pretty soon we'll have one of my favourite garden smells of all when our lily of the valley are in bloom. They've spread a lot so I'll be able to fill the house with them. =>}

Awww, pretty bluebells! Sorry about the sawmill though - not exactly what anyone wants.
