With me, it's more the people who I friended eons ago, who I see everyday on my friend's lists and so have a degree of interaction with, but who have clearly - deliberately indeed - chosen not to friend me back that worry me a tad. I just wonder why I cling to their company when they obviously don't want mine? )o:

Umm... Well, I'd considered friending you for quite a while before you friended me. The reason I didn't was that you were going through some issues that semi-mirrored mine at the time. I was barely holding it together a lot of the time, and really needed my f-list to help me with that. If we'd actually known each other IRL, of course I'd have tried to be supportive, but since we didn't know each other, and I had very little support to give...

Anyway, I'm making a hash of this, but just thought I'd throw in that failure-to-friend doesn't mean someone never checks out your journal; and it may be a lot more about them than you. (Like, I suspect my happy-mommy posts are not what a lot of what the people I have friended, that haven't reciprocated, want to be reading!)

Ah... tbh, I really don't remember how I came to friend you; I probably just saw you around a lot on other friend's ljs - but I'm happy I did (and the people I'm thinking of giving up on are ones I friended long before you and it just feels like time - I'm not ditching them all; some are just BNFs with massive flists and that's fair enough, but others aren't.)

Sorry you've been going through a bad time too.

We seem to run in similar circles (TS fandom, mostly); anyway, I see comments by you pretty frequently :-)

Sorry you've been going through a bad time too.

Thanks. Actually, since October things have been good. But July-October was tough.
