[personal profile] jessriley asked to see my view (this is from the front bedroom window. The sawmill in the foreground, almost obscured by the May blossom now; the Brinscall woods beyond. The road (Bury Lane) goes to the next village, then across the moors to Bolton.

Mine, however, are extremely skanky. They obviously breed a better class of doxy in Withnell ;-)

My toenails are decidedly unclean. I have since bathed paying special attention to said toenails.

It's a ratty old sofa from the 1930's with a ton of throws and an old duvet on it, but it is comfy. (o: I love that table too.

Most of that pile of books is a papier mache table cunningly constructed to look like books - there are some books on it (consisting mostly of Doctor Who novels *g*), did iyou mean those? *g*

The cake tasted better than it looked! It was my first attempt at baking in the microwave and was a surprising success; a very light sponge in less than 10 minutes - amazing!
