BBC Weather is asking 'is it ever going to stop raining?' It's been a lovely-super-sunny-gorgeous day here in England's second-wettest county. We're sitting with the door open, enjoying the balmy breezes, sweetly scented with honeysuckle and mown grass. I've written 6,632 words of synopsis for the novel today and started scripting my radio-com. Now I'm sipping a most pleasing South African Chardonnay (Lidl; £2.98! And it's gorgeous!), nibbling on olives, Blue Dovedale and Cretan hard bread; dinner (ratatouille) is in the slow cooker, awaiting my pleasure with Mark's still-warm bread.

To summerise (see what I did there...?) - Could be worse. A lot worse. Yes indeedy.

I hope everyone's having a wonderful evening (or whenever - time zones, they're so confusing).

Love, my babies... Sending out the love. Have a wonderful weekend, all. ::Blowing kisses made of pure, sweet and groovy luuurve ::

Music:: Blackbirds and Curlews nd the neighbour's lawnmower.
Mood:: 'relaxed' relaxed

It's 10:05Am I'm not even dressed yet. Lazy today. I has flowers to plant and groceries to buy and I don't care, I was at the church till 9pm last night setting up for a yard sale I'm not even going to...yawn.

I sort of remember that. Goodness! You have a fine and wholesome-sounding reason to be tired. I was shagged this morning too, because a piece of blaggardly technology decided it'd be fun to shine its coid, blue, laser-like beam of light directly into my eyes at 3am. The bastard.

Both of our computers have flashy lights etc and whenever the grumpy guy is running something at night weirdly bluegreen light(mine's all red, blue and green so I definitely shut everything down) fills the room. Now? not so much since it really doesn't get dark at all in the summer.

This was a dastardly wattage meter Mark's beta-testing. No light till 3am, sudden, unexpected sonic-screwdriver impression at 3am. Curse the scurvy dog.

It's never much dark here at the moment but we have very thick velvet curtains (for that very reason).

OMG I am knackered, and my brain is off on holiday in the Algarve. So nothing sensible to say only HELLO! ::waves::

Still having a very nice afternoon. I'm waiting for my eyes to go back to normal, since I went to the eye doctor and got the drops. I can't spend too much time here for now, since the white pages kind of hurt my eyes.

Have a great weekend. Your Friday evening already sounds lovely. =>}

Thanks! Luckily, I can dim my computer's screen and I changed my wallpaper slide show to a dark grey background and it was easier to catch up with LJ and read my fanfic that way. =>}

My eyes always stay dilated for hours but this room was quite dark and they didn't bother me TOO much, thank goodness. Of course, they're fine this morning.

::loving weekend kisses back atcha:: *g*

Saturday squee! The weather's gone down a few nothches; not exactly raining, but cloudy and dull and threatening precipitation. Sigh.

But there's toast, coffee, Jonathan Ross on the radio, a long day of nothing and Who tonight. ::Does the Saturday-at-home shimmy::

Hope you're having a delicious day, young Snycock.

Sounds like heaven.::sigh:: I'm sitting here in my winter pj's contemplating if I'll put the fire on. It's not that cold I guess, 15 degrees (c) maybe, but I'm a wimp - a total and utter, curl up in a little tight ball type wimp, when it comes to the cold.

Have a fantastic, relaxing weekend.

Winter has its charms too; wood fires and hot toddies, comfort food and flannel pjs. .

I hope you have a gorgeous weekend regardless, babe. ::sending out warming, alcohol-laden vibes::

Maybe they're picking up our weather here. It's rained every day this week and is very muggy now. Heat wave for the weekend-it's supposed to reach 90 tomorrow. And it's only June!
Have a great weekend!

I hate the heat, especially when it's muggy.

I believe the south and east of the country are getting it good wheras we, in the usually sodden path of Atlantic winds, are warm (top 60's, 70ish) and sunny and everything's delightfully green and lush and early summery...

I say is, what I meant was 'was'. It's cloudy today, threatening rain. Back to normal. (o: I've got nothing to do, gonna sit here and listen to Jonathan Ross and eat toast and chill.

I hope you're having a relaxing weekend anyway - despite the muggy weather. (:
