panik: (Withnell & I)
Why a bastard should ache more than a person born in wedlock is open for discussion - but I do. Very.

::is old::

Hey ho. We're lying on the bed amidst the breakfast-on-a-tray debris, listening to the radio (I highly rec Stephen Fry's English Delight, should you be able to access that via pod cast or listen again or Some Other Method of your choosing), fannying with laptops...

I've had to take down the message on my website inviting suggestions for downloads because of a flood of emails from idiots begging for season one (sigh) and, in one strange example, downloads of QAF, Num3rs and Starsky and Hutch. ::iz puzzled:: The offer still stands for you sensible folks who knew I was referring to Sentinel related stuff (that's not season one eps (o:). Hey ho, she sighed. I really need to get off my arse and redesign that website if I'm going to let it live. It's an awful mess.

Anyway, work re-commences on the House of Webb n Walker at midday. I need the mornings to fanny about on LJ recover my strength, drink coffee, eat toast and such and, imo, you don't get any more done by starting early because you will need a lunch break - and I find it SO HARD to get moving again once I've stopped. I musch prefer to start later and work through till 6 or 7 then stop for good. It works for me (and i don't hear Mark complaining).

Come to think of it, I could use this long, pleasant morning soujourn to write something, couldn't I? Instead of the online fannying ::ponders:: It's a thought...

Mark's sneezing up a storm this morning. I'm hoping it's the dust and he's not coming down with something. A man-Flu victim on top of all this - just doesn't bear thinking about.

Next up, damp-proofing the wall I skimmed yesterday (hopefully, now dry), more plastering, sanding the skirting boards, touching up the exposed beams where paint dripped down them (8 years ago (o:). And shopping, for we are out of milk. And wine. And snacks. This situation cannot be allowed to continue.

Mood:: 'contemplative' contemplative
