It didn't snow much, just an inch or two, but then it froze- really hard, and made life difficult, but pretty. I took these at two-thirty pm, just as the sun was setting.



My favourite weather. I love the colours in the sky this time of year.






The hills in the distance are the snow-covered Derbyshire Peaks

Or drive on, since our beloved local authorities hadn't gritted anything but the major roads. I live on a very narrow road - barely one car wide - with cars parked all down one side and a wall the other - covered in a thick sheet of ice. Such larks. ::she said, sweating and breathing hard::
