A Delightful Weekend in the Country part 2
A sunny Sunday morning with m'favourite doxy. A long, leisurely breakfast has been consumed, creamy eggs, buttered toast, juice, pan chocolat and copious quantities of Ethiopian coffee.
I think it goes without saying that we're still in our pjs.
Current status: lolling on our respective sofas, writing our respective fics. Soon we shall compare notes. Probably about the time I go and make vanilla lattes.I'm working on the final (O:! Oh yes indeedy!) chapter of Blue. I just finished the first draft but it needs much work yet before I can post it.

Just tearing myself away from the orgy (the one with the spiced cider, optional togas and nekkid pool boys; and cheesecake) to tell you both I'm not even slightly green with envy or anything. Nope, not me. *hg*
Have a fab day... Looky - sunshine!
Looky - sunshine!
We are still in pyjamas.
Have a gorgeous day with your toga'd oily-boys my love. May the spiced-cider flow like wine - tho jewelled goblets of absinthe misted with dry ice sounds more appropriate. ::blowing kisses and random decadence in a vaguely south-westerly direction::

YES! You guys win. *g* I have made it as far as frayed shorts that don't belong to me, and frayed jumper that does... let it all hang out baby *g*

I DO love a good G&T. *g*
We're having a perfect Spring day - sunny but not too hot, a cool breeze in the shade, and the perfume of many flowering trees and bushes, like our lilac, wafting on the breeze.
We had a long weekend last week. The 24th of May. Yes, I know that TODAY is the 24th, but here in Canada, we get the third Monday of May off, originally in honour of Queen Victoria's birthday. Which is today. Like Garett's. Heh heh.
We used to call it Victoria Day weekend. Now we just call it the 24th of May weekend. I've even heard young whippersnappers call it the Two Four. We are not amused. *g*
Sounds gorgeous.
Re: Sounds gorgeous.
"May is rich in days off"
I noticed that. We only get one long weekend in May. Then again, with J. retired, every days a holiday. *g*
Have fun!
