The Republican lunatic fringe is certainly doing its bit for international relations right now - speaking as someone who also comes from a nation with evil and Orwellian nationalised health services.

It's fascinating to see the people of this country rising up in unified outrage about the way the US right is dissing our health service. Twitter has had me enthralled all evening.

What's most strange about all this debate is, the bill isn't about Nationalized Health Care it's about mandatory and possibly nationalized health insurance.

The links are tenuous to say the least. I'm not even sure how the NHS got into the debate but it's certainly galvanised opinion over here like nothing else though, which is no bad thing, imo.
