I went out to post the last Christmas cards and took a few pictures, there's not much snow here but it's frosting and freezing hard now and they're threatening heavy falls at the weekend, no doubt more pix will follow.  Click to make them bigger.

Very pretty, says she, snowless in Wales, through gritted teeth...

I'm sure your turn will come. Dear Lord, it's bitter out there today!

It's so pretty, with just a dusting of snow. Not enough to be seriously inconvenient but enough to look attractive.

If only it'd stayed like that - coming down hard now, snow on top of ice. Lovely. :o)

My favourite - light dusting of snow and blue skies. Perfect!

Grim and grey and heavy snow today and so bloody cold! How is it down your way? If it's anything like here, stay in, stay warm - drink wine!

::thinking:: Ooh! baby! Are you there? Is it over? (meep!)

Freezing cold here today - no more snow, and what we had melted, followed by rain, followed by brrrrrrr - and yes! We haz ice! Oh joy!

Still no babe - and we're getting ever-so slightly bored now, but we have to wait until lunch time before they'll go in with the crowbar and flashlights. Hoo boy!

Call that snow? Now this is... oops, no photo!

Yours is so pretty and without the inconvenience! Lovely photos, I especially like the dry stone wall one.
Thanks for sharing.
Keep warm!

If only it had stayed like that. It's dark and grey and been snowing steadily all day. It's looking very snowy out there... O:

Keep warm!
You too! Is cream soda good served warm? Probably not.

So it's your turn! My car was snowed in yesterday. If the Volvo I saw couldn't get up the hill, mine certainly couldn't! I had to bus it and walking back home from the bus stop was an icy nightmare. I was convinced I wouldn't get into work today and I'd have to go in on my day off on Monday. Fortunately I was wrong!
I hope you don't get it as bad as it was here.

Cream soda is most fortunately best served cold. This is not a problem at the moment!
I, however, am warm and toasty with Louie under a duvet!
:o)

Very pretty! Thanks for sharing.

We are up to about 8 inches now, with another possible 10 on the way. Too dark to take pictures now but maybe tomorrow.

Sounds l;ovely! Oh, I know it's inconvenient but I love the cold (if it's dry) and the snow. It's been a long time since we saw real snow in this country. When I was a kid, growing up in Yorkshire the snow used to bury the house to the bedroom windows, but no more though, the last 2 years have been distinctly wintry so maybe - just when I'm getting old and grey and unable to cope. *g*

Oh, please do post pictures!

I always like to have at least one really good snowstorm but we haven't had many since I was a kid. Our winter weather has become mostly cold and rainy, especially around Christmas ::blah::

I did take pictures of our Abominable Snowdogs and the totally awesome snowdrifts this morning. As soon as I finish the roll and get it developed I'll post them.
