Oh, I'm so glad to hear that you're liking Eleven! Since you are my Doctor Who mentor, it is very reassuring. We have just finished everything we could find for Number Four! So even thirty or so years behind in viewing, we are coping with our own regeneration-angst. Looking forward to seeing what Five is like... *hurry, Netflix!*

I is Who-Svengali! ::preens::

I hope you like Matt, I think he's wonderful and most people this side of the ocean seem to agree. He seems like a refreshing return to Old Who Values and I'm very glad indeed. IMO, the writing's not been as great as anticipated but I'm sure it will improve - if the Doctor's right, a bit of ropy writing cannot harm you. :o) I mean, I came through 47 years of green bubble wrap, hair-dryer spaceships and rubber monsters, I can live with a little writery daftness.

I can't tell from your post if you'd seen Tom's Doctor before or was it new for you? - and if so, what did you think? Most Americans seem only to know about Four, as far as classic Who goes.
