... And his beauties. Oh yes we are. He said so himself. ... heh heh heh.

OMG! It's one am, we have to go to bed soon, especially [profile] alibongo who has to go wet sieving in a quarry tomorrow.

But before we do, we just had to mention our gorgeous, fantastic, magical long weekend. A full report will follow when we've had a chance to fully process, but there was just so MUCH Burgi... hugs, kisses, caresses, squeezings, mucho banter, mutual joshing and teasing and just so much fun. We connected. And it was good...

As for Richard's golf... As Ali said to him at the 12th hole; 'how much is it worth not to tell Garett...?' ::G::
location: Ali's Kitchen
Mood:: 'ecstatic' ecstatic

First Richard, then Garett...what a fall you're having!
Sounds like great fun...I'm glad you guys had a good time. I hope pictures are forthcoming?

I HOPE pix are forthcoming. TBH, I didn't capture any of our key moments with Richard (and they were many; oh so many... ::G::) because we were enjoying the moments - obviously! And we didn't wanna be fannish and in his face with the camera all the time.

Because of the restrictions on cameras (everyone had one - they knew we had them, but expected us to be discrete with them) it was hard to do a lot, and, having been a journalist, I'm always hyper aware of the danger of missing the moment 'cause you're living everything through a lens.

In the end, I gave up on the camera and went for video. I seemed to do a fair bit of that. When I get back home next week (I'm going on to my mum's for a few days) I'll go through what I have and try and get at least some caps up; maybe even some vid. downloads on my site. Whatever we and Ali have between us that's usable, you can be sure, we'll post it up.

Oh yes :VBG:: And so CUDDLY! Hard as a bloody lump of granite! O: But oh so soft and cuddlesome at the same time.

I'm still grinning inanely. I fear I will be for quite some time.

You might as well unfriend us now, hon, cos we're going to be INSUFERABLE for a long, long time

RAOTFL!

Oh. We have had the most unbelievably good time. He is such a darling. We've practically lived in his pockets for the past 3 days (well, during the daylight hours, anyway, heh heh heh). We teased him a lot (he played a bloody awful game of golf! ::G::) and he's teased us back. He's just so funny and approachable; like an old, old friend.

Honestly, there's just too much to tell; we're going to do a proper report just as soon as we can - give us a few days.

Wish you could've come, hon. We wouldn't have missed it for the WORLD!

No WAY am I unfriending you! I want to hear it ALL, baby. Lay it on me!

I'm so happy for you that it went like that. What an amazing experience! You must be on the high to end all highs :-D

I wish I could have come, too. Alas, the time of year, the lack of funds, and other commitments got in the way. But I'm very glad you made it!

From the moment we found out, there was no WAY we wern't going to go. But, the whole thing was serendipitous and strange. For a start, NEITHER of us should have been home to read the emails on Tuesday, but because of illness, we both were. Then all the hotels and B&Bs in the area were fully booked - though we knew, we'd just keep looking in an ever increasing radius, and sleep in the car if we had to - but in the end, we found the most wonderful B&B right in the middle of Caerleon. The lady who owned it - Brenda - was full too, but she went through hoops to fit us in with blow up beds and what have you. And as it turned out, the B&B was the huge cherry on our Burgi cake.

It was a gorgeous little place - had a Roman road running right under it, and was sittingwhere the Roman baths would have been (I'll let Ali tell you all about the Roman bit because it totally blew our minds!). Brenda turnes out to be a spiritual healer who works on past lives (you would have LOVED her baby!) She did some crystal work with us over breakfast and cleared our chakras for us and we all sat round and discussed our past lives till we made ourselves late...

I won't go on at length cos I'm really in a rush here and we're going to write up full reports, but when we told her how the golf was going for Richard, she gave us a piece of snow quartz, from Ganulan in North Wales, which she really felt would help (more on this later as it's a lengthy, funny story). Anyway, Richard has the crystal. Whether it's going home with him or not (o: I think it helped him on the day. Not in the way we'd intended - ie, not his golf, which went from bad to worse, but I think it helped him deal in the best possible way. He started the day with everyone asking 'who's he?' and ended it with the entire crowd eating out of his hand and crowding him for autographs. ::G::

But really, everything this weekend just fell ito place beautifully - things that seemed to have gone wrong, turned out to be blessings, and the whole thing was just perfect. It's a horrid and vile shame you couldn't have been with us, babe. really. We missed you! We missed you ALL, in fact - where WAS everybody???
(Not that we're complaining or anything, having had Richie practically all to ourselves and all!)

Oh god, it sounds perfect! In every possible way!

I so wish I could have been with you. But at the same time, I am so happy that you got to have such a fabulous experience. I am uterly delighted for you! And every little snippet you let drop about your weekend makes me almost as happy as if I'd been there ::bounces::

Right. Sometime in the next few weeks, you, me, large bottle of wine. You will tell me everything!

And if you are still off the booze, I'll drink yours for you... ;-)

Aw babe - thank you for being so glad ::G::. Frankly, I'm just busting to share! I'm still off the booze for the time being, hon. I'll have to watch you and Ali drink mine while I sip a cup of green tea (o: I'm certainly happy to spill all, just let me process a bit first!
Exhaustion's starting to kick in a bit now, tbh. Even squee can only sustain a body for so long...

Well, if he said it...it's true then. *G* What a fantastic time you had. Just all sounds so wonderful.

Naturally we'll be wanting detailed reports and stuff...So glad you got to spend so much time with him. He did appear to lighten up a lot as the time went on. Relaxing and enjoying himself...and hamming it up. LOL!
(Were you there whn he pretended to use the green rake to hit the ball? What a hoot! )

Eagerly awaiting photo's and reports.

Hugs.

Yeah, as soon as he stopped trying to play golf - and they did put him against some pretty tough opposition! - his mood really lifted. His laugh seemed to pervade the entire course! It was all we could hear - but then, we might just have been very attuned to it. (o: The first thing we did, when we got in last night, was put the Decoys bloopers on, just to hear it again. ::VBG::

I am INSANELY jealous! Can't wait for reports, stories, anything you can share!

Hee! If I weren't me (or Ali!), I'd be jealous too ::G:: We really did have the most magical time.

I've just been looking through the video I took and it's looking pretty good - And Mark, my partner's recorded all 20 hours of the TV coverage on the tivo; when I've got it all edited down to the interesting bits, I'll try and make copies available to whoever wants them.

In the meantime, Ali and I will write out reports, do picture galleries and maybe get some video up for download - just give us a little time to get it all organised.

Any news on your triste with Richie?

I'm so glad you had such a good time and that Richard did too. Your B&B sounds fantastic, and I'm so glad you ended up there, and that Richard ended up with everyone wanting his autograph.

Now you have to write it all down and share every tiny little detail. Please??

Richard was looking a little down (which was when Ali got a big hug!). As soon as he abandoned all hop of playing a proper game, he started clowning for the crowd and really started enjoying himself. It was a joy to see (o:

I'll start on the reports as soon as I've started to recover a bit!

I'm still grinning inanely. The chucking of my cheek (plus wicked laugh) threw me a bit, I must admit. I mean - what was that all about? O:! ::G::

Reports will follow as soon as we're able. At the moment, I've just roused from a four hour 'nap' in time to get into bed (o: Hopefully, I can make a start tomorrow.

Man, I've just come down from the ceiling long enough just to say, I LOVE THAT MAN!!!! He is so sweet and funny and kind, and his hugs and kisses just leave you wanting more!! I'm ruined for any other man!!

It truly was the most perfect and wonderful weekend of my entire life! I still have this ridiculous grin on my face and a tendency to garble none stop at anyone who asks me if I had a good weekend LOL

But Ms Walker and I will give you a detailed report over the weekend, we promise - every wonderful little touch, chat, stroke, pat, hug, kiss....................................

Ali - writing from back on the ceiling again XX
