Picking the Low Mangoes

... is my great  justifiably unpublished novel; I have NO idea if anyone reads this (except the estimable Snailbones - to whom, salutations and greetings) but I've put a couple more chapters up, just for the hell of it. Gosh golly, I haven't even read this through since it last went to the agent some 3 years ago. It's probably all bollocks, but what the heck... (o:
It's here, if you want it.

I haven't had a look at it, but I'm going to bookmark it and get to it, probably only after the Xmas rush. =>}

It sounds very interesting indeed. =>}

Nice of you to take an interest, hon. It's been languishing on my HD for an age. I thought I might bring it out to play for a while, before it oes back to The Dark Place ::G::

I like your fanfic so much, I'm sure I'll like this, too. For now, with the stress of the season - our concert coming up, my Mum visiting for it, then our kids coming the week over for our little family Xmas (before the real day, when we'll be at Mum's), I'll just be reading slash when I need to relax.

So I'll save the more "serious" stuff for the New Year. I'm looking forward to it. =>}

Well, I'm really glad people are taking an interest. It's been stuck in a box for so long... ::sigh::

But, gosh - my book, serious? O: LOL. Well, I suppose it was a bit serious at the time (a lot of the stuff in the book actually happened), but it was pretty funny at the time, too. TBH, I've never laughed so long, so hard in my life as I did in Cuba. It was such an eccentric place. (o:

Cool! I can't wait to read about it. I have a friend who vacations there for a few weeks at a time a couple of times a year and she and her husband just love it and its people.

When I say "serious", I mean something that I'm not going to skim through the way I sometimes do with fanfic. It means a lot to you, so I want to be able to relax when I'm reading it and take my time. THAT kind of serious. =>}

... um, me... estimable? Nah!

But thanks for posting some more - I'm loving it. There's just something about it, the heat, the atmosphere and the madness... wonderful!

Well so you are! You're a legend in your own lunchtime.

I'm glad you're enjoying it so much. I haven't read it myself for years, so I'll take your word for it ::G:: I'll stick some more up tomorrow.

Somehow I totally missed this! I'll be sure to start on it as soon as I have some time though, 'cause I love your fic. Life is a bit crazy right now o_0
