Aww, I hope you didn't actually need the acupuncture too much against pain. But in situations like the one you're describing I, too, tend to think that there might be some sense in it, or, as our favorite anthropologist says: "Nothing in this universe happens randomly"

And I, not at all being self-absorbed here ;-), am all for you continuing to write the Roman WIP. ::g::
