Before I have to commence with the rough stuff; you know, walking into town for last minute stuff, making my Christmas card to my family, defrosting pastry for veggie sausage rolls, ringing the bloody Corgi man because the central heating's broken down, on the weekend, TWO BLOODY DAYS BEFORE *** CHRISTMAS!!!!

You Are a Trifle

No doubt, you have many intricate layers. But deep down, you're a little squishy.

Mmmmm, trifle. What could be nicer? (o:

OMG - the central heating's died NOW? Eeeeep.

Sending you virtual hot water bottles and mulled wine. Hope you get the wretched thing fixed quickly. Want me to come kick it for you?

::hugs::

It's off, then on again - currently on, but for who knows how long? Most maddening of all is telling Dad, who's getting worryingly forgetful and vague, WHY we need the engineer - over and over and over and over...

I fear I will go mad.

Oh sweetie... sometimes you have to scrape your sense of humour off the floor - it's such hard work, I know. Sending you a barrel of wine and warm hugs.

LOL! My nerves are shattered and lying in sharp little pieces on the floor. I'd best sweep them up before someone gets hurt.

Naw, it's all calmed down now. Port and mince pies have been consumed, the fire is lit - I'd say, 'it's cool', but - it actually is. Hee.

It will all be alright on the morrow - I hope!

Thanks hon. Hopefully, it's in hand but... Man (see above).

Thanks for your good wishes. We have a fire and hot water - if it goes off again, we'll just have to resort to flannel jammies and hot water bottles, like in t' good old days ::G::

It could be worse. We could have run out of wine (o:

LOL! Thank God for small Christmas miracles!

And jammies and water bottles aren't so bad, as long as you've got plenty of wine *grin*

Here's hoping you have a warm Christmas...

Mike the plumber is coming to fix it tomorrow, bless him to Christmas and back. He came out today to check it all out despite having been working since 8am and his wife ringing to remind him they were going out at 7.00 (he came over at 6.30). What a star! ::VBG::
