I just read it , it's beautiful, insightful, and it sounds right. I guess every one who had lost a parent and to forgive him/her may be quite touched by this story. I also love the nuance of spirituality in it.
Your story remind me about the Donkey Skin tale by Perrault, same condition, same menace, same solution, with a big difference : the incest that leads Blair to be born.
