Too cool for subject

Juts finished and wow, that's a very powerful, sad and moving story. It must have been hard to write but it was so well done.

The mystery of Blair's father is something I've always found fascinating -- and it's difficult to see someone like Blair not being curious so it was good to get a plausible solution to the puzzle.

Loved the interweaving points of view and that you used Naomi's as well; really worked for the fic.

I'm really glad you liked it.

As I said to Jess, I've been feeding this bunny for years - I knew it'd be a tough one to write and I was more than a bit worried how people might take the subject matter. It's always seemed the most plausible reason for... well, everything, it seems to me; the fact Naomi hasn't told Blair who his father is, Naomi's behaviour, Blair's apparent lack of curiosity...

It was incredibly difficult to write (it started out all 1st person; I gave that up pretty quickly though; whoa that was hard! (o:), and it seemed to take *forever* to finish so, I'm really glad you feel it works.

Thanks for the kind words. It's always great to get such nice fb from a writer I admire so much.
