Reclining on the sofa...

With a cup of tea and a toasted hot cross bun liberally lathered with blackcurrant jam - and I have the most enormous, huge n heavy cheesecake in my fridge and a Doctor Who novel in my hand. Life is kind sometimes.

I am wondering why Noel Edmonds is on my telly. How can such a thing have happened...?  Ah, OK - the digi-box has crashed. The situation is fixable. Fixing it now...

Fixed. Good.

And it's sunny outside; warm and bright and beautiful and the BBC say it'll be the same tomorrow! And aside from the chimney sweep coming in the morning, tomorrow, and Friday, and Saturday too are free; FREE I tell you. I might finally get some writing done. I might finally finish the next bit of the Academy story. ::laughs like a loon::

Do you need to know that I used to have an strange little crush on Bill Oddie? An odd crush, even. And with that TMI I shall wander confusedly away, hopefully to do some writing once I've got the lad off to school. ;-)

I had a crush on Bill Oddie, too - didn't everyone? Well, everyone 'cept my friend Cylinda who was in love with Graham (but he only had eyes for his computer. So sad...)

I'm speaking of the seventies, of course. Bill is still cute but about as wide as he is tall these days. *g*

LOL! I saw a programme about the Goodies not so long ago, and all three of them said that Bill was the sex symbol in The Goodies. He seemed quite pleased with that fact. :oD

Ooh, ta! I will take you up on that offer happily. I'll go and do a search online to see if I can find anything suitable too. Screencaps of the Goodies would be fun, though it depends on if you want to put in all the work. ::hugs tightly::
