From my twice-a-yearly fangirl trip to Matlock (had a wonderful time, thanks). Went to see Forgetting Sarah Marshall (Russell wonderful as per, the rest of the movie decidedly weak). So... catching up this morning with an insane quantity of emails; I haven't even got close to catching up to LJ yet (what busy bunnies you all are (o:)

While I was away, we lost Humphrey Littleton. This is gutting news. Who is going to chair the show now (I vote for Barry Cryer myself)?

Due to an extended and ill-timed trip to Sainsbury's, I missed a goodly chunk of Doctor Who - it's downloading as I type so, no spoilers please.

And Garett is going to be in CSI Miami and no one is talking about this on LJ. WHY??? I am full of squee and need to vent. What is wrong with you people? *g*

I squee'd because I was wondering if we would ever see Garret on the tv again! Everytime I see a rerun of Frasier I stop and see if it's the episode he was on...

I promised myself I wouldn't schedule work on Mondays until I see him!

It's all over the lists, but I haven't heard a peep on LJ which surprised me; I thought the squee would be so mighty as to lay low the mountains of the Earth. ::shrug::

I was talking about it with my great-mate

We've been waiting for more NEWS!

We didn't know which episode he's gonna be on, which date, nothing!

Aly's been keeping up on it, so have I.. Jane has itchy fingers just waiting to upload it and post link for all of us to keep it forever and a day.

Well there's a press release online with dates and full cast and crew and everything...

I'll be downloading and uploading too. I am filled with a mighty squee.

There's some mighty squee on Aly's journal. We are all waiting with bated breath.

We know he's going to be the victim, so I'm wondering how many lines he'll get. Sometimes on CSI, they do a lot of victim flashbacks, so he might get more screentime than lines.

And I'm wonderng if we'll get to see him laid out on the slab sans clothes.

Oh gods, Alex gets to see his naked bod!!!!! I am SO jealous!

Re: the sad death of Humph, I think they've said that they wouldn't carry on the show without him. Which is a shame, but understandable.

I'm going to see Barry Cryer tomorrow night at the local theatre. Looking forward to that.

Good to see someone on the ball anyhow. I was expecting, I dunno - more interest now it's confirmed and we have dates and everything (because previous rumour on Garett working has been prone to end in disappointment (o:) And the silence is kinda deafening. )o:

If you miss a few days with a big f-list, it's impossible to catch up; been there, done that. But I didn't want you to think there was no squeeage :;g:: We're just waiting for the episode now. It's called Down to the Wire, I believe and I know a few details about Garett's character but I don't know if you mind about potential spoilers?

And did you see that Richard's on DH on Sunday AND an episode of Reaper in May?

You just missed the squee because you were away, we were all jumping up and down with glee. I am just going to miss seeing it here, I arrive back in the UK in the 11th.

How did the weekend go? Was the cottage nice? I can't get to my emails at the mo, but I still have limited livejournal contact. I am trying to not get too far behind

I've been back over my flist for the time I've been away and I see no jumping up and down anywhere. Point me to it so I too can jump - please! There's plenty of squee on the lists but I can't find anything on LJ, which surprised me. I'll be downloading then uploading it to my site, hon, so we can all see it asap. I'm looking forward to a little excitement cause my TS-squee has distinctly lost its bloom of late. )o:

Well, I was waiting for YOU to squee about it! *G* You are my muse in all things Garett-squee, you know...

But, yeah, it is really good news, and just totally out of the blue - he must have made the arrangements or whatever a while ago, but then someone posted it to TS Storyfinders, and I guess Suki contacted him, and it sounded (I didn't hear him, obviously, but based on her email to Sentinalia) as if he was, all, like, oh, yeah, I just finished taping that last Saturday. And I wanna smack him and say, Garett, honey, you gotta let your fangirls KNOW these things...

I hope he gets a few good, juicy scenes and doesn't just end up as a dead body in a morgue. And I find myself crossing my fingers and thinking... Richard was about this age when they cast him for TS, and he'd only been in a few things before... wouldn't it be great if it evolved into something regular? Like, starring, weekly?

And we still have Doctor Who to catch up to (downloading not going so well due to dodgy lappy (Marks)), then a new Doctor Who the day after, and you're getting into The Boosh (so I can annoy you in emails with quotes and in jokes - I think I need a 'Howard Angst' icon).

I fear I may not live through the weekend.
