A Child of God; it's up at my website and 852 (I never can get italics to work at 852. WHY??? But at least I got the chapter dividers to work for me this time, avoiding the mess I made when I posted Wind Whispering and Chasing Rainbows. ::shakes head with the horror::)

Blair's search for his father uncovers a dark, long hidden secret.

It takes place after Spare Parts and is a sad little tale of dirty secrets and massive angst. And it's slash - not hugely so, but there is some J/B sex in it, so be warned if that's not your thing. There are other warnings too, as i say, this is a fairly angsty tale.

This is the story I wrote for the very wonderful Mariojoe, who won it for Moonridge 2006. her patience and kindness knows no bounds.

For the first time in an age (I love their high-juice blackcurrant cordial (o:) and they're selling the most wonderful Greek anti-pasti; various peppers, roasted aubergines and vine leaves stuffed with goats cheese, olives and herbs. Yum... I'm just draining some for dinner. They look really good. Yay Aldi!

Got a rather nice looking Merlot for under three quid, too - and they're selling Reese’s peanut butter cups! Why did no one tell me about this?!  I've never seen American candy on sale over here before...

I have a strange, unhealthy relationship with Reese's cups. I'm not a great fan, on the whole, of American sweets/candy. I find them too sweet; the chocolate especially, much too sugary and milky - not enough cocoa. But I do love the cups. Why, I don't know. They ought to be nasty, but they're not.

Hey ho. ::adds an extra 10 minutes to tonight's run::

But it's the weekend folks!!! I have olives from Booths, I have wine, an organic, granary baguette and a really nice looking bit of local goats cheese. And now I have stuffed Lombardi peppers and peanut butter cups, too.

Can life get any better? Well I guess the sun could come out but hey, lets not push it.

LOL! I just put this through my spell-checker, which remains obstinately locked on US spelling, despite all requests to shift itself back to the real (heh heh) dictionary and the only thing it could suggest for 'aubergine' was 'aborigine.'  Aborigines stuffed with goats cheese... Wild!
