Polling day

It's another gorgeous, sunny day, schools are closed yet it's unusually quiet and still out there. One might even say, ominous...

*g*

Lawdy law, that European ballot! Was everyone else's as HUGE as ours? Do that many parties even exist? Wow. It was rather refreshing, exciting even. I'm liking this air of Revolution, like it a lot. Which is to say, at least I didn't have to spoil my ballot this time. :o)

I couldn't beleive the size of the European ballot paper - I thought they wanted me to paper the walls or something!

I took Mum with me to vote, and couldn't figure what was taking her so long. When I asked her what she'd been doing she said, "I was drawing them a diagram..." Oh dear *g*

The first party that came round asking for my vote was the BNP - I don't think so.

I'm off to vote in a bit.

We went to vote at our usual polling station which happens to be my old primary school.

The janitor was standing guard at the door, bored out of his skull..
There were also two police officers in a van outside... presumably in case the voters rioted or something.... However, by the time we came out, having wrestled the ballot paper into the box, they had buggered off, very sensible I thought. Is boredom catching?

I think we are in for some interesting results in a few days time.

Ah yes. We had the itty bitty lilac local one and the HUMONGOUS yellow one with the parties I've never heard of.
Could they make it any bigger?!

But 'tis done and I look forward to Labour's thrashing.
(she said hopefully)
:o)
