Baby, it's wet n windy outside!

It's been dark since eleven am but I am OK because I have my favourite slow-braised spicy veg and noodles which are incredibly yum. God bless you Aga, you may be the most expensive slo-cooker in the world, but you braise a beautiful vegetable. Your roast parsnips are pretty good too.

I feel there should be food porn but I'm too hungry.

Oh, and I have wine too. Best mention the wine. ::nods::

Alas, too late! If only I'd seen your message earlier - having turned th'internets off to watch some telly - I could have... mailed them to Dorset or something, maybe...?

There's SUN this morning! Actual SUN! ::stares at it a bit:: nd at the exact moment I wrote thse words, it started to rain. Oh my. I've just been reading Cormac McCarthy's The Road, it seems particularly apt for these apocalyptic days. ::nods. portentous expression::

I am warm and dry but my cat hammond who's normaly a home body has not come home these past two nights I shall be out looking for him tommrow.

It's bad news looks like he got hit by a car as a dead cat was found Tuesday morning and was picked up by enviromental health - 99% sure it's him. They are ringing mr back tommrow I'm in bits about it.
